Terry taught for 27 years in the secondary sector in Merseyside and East London and took on a variety of management roles outside the classroom, including training and development support for new and probationary teachers. Terry has worked for Tes Institute for 10 years, starting as a Pathway Tutor for Straight to Teaching and Assessment Only, before becoming a QTS and EPA assessor. 

He also works to support classroom assistants undertaking their Level 3 national apprenticeship.
