Will Rogers

Will Rogers is Programme Director for National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) at Best Practice Network, where he leads the strategic delivery of professional development programmes, supporting thousands of teachers and school leaders across England.

With almost two decades of experience spanning school leadership and national professional development programmes, Will has worked across both leadership and subject-specific CPD, supporting teachers and school leaders to develop their practice and improve outcomes for children and young people. Prior to joining Best Practice Network, he led national education programmes at STEM Learning, including the National Centre for Computing Education and the Computer Science Accelerator programme, working with schools, trusts, universities and sector partners across the country.

At Best Practice Network, Will has played a key role in the development and delivery of a range of NPQs, including the NPQ for SENCOs. Through this work, thousands of school leaders and SENCOs have successfully completed the programme and achieved the mandatory qualification, with many more currently participating. Drawing on experience across both leadership and subject-specific professional development, Will is particularly interested in how high-quality CPD can help schools translate policy into practice and improve outcomes for children and young people.
