Nicole Dempsey is Director of SEND and Safeguarding at Dixons Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust of 17 schools with a mission to challenge social and educational disadvantage in the north of England. She is also a Deputy Regional SEND Lead for Whole School SEND in Yorkshire and the Humber, supporting collaboration and evidence-informed practice across the region and nationally.

Nicole is passionate about SEND and inclusion, with a particular interest in practical, multi-disciplinary approaches that enable children to belong and thrive. She shares reflections on leadership and inclusion through her blog, inco14.wordpress.com.
