John Roberts is the SEND and inclusion editor for Tes. He has worked for Tes magazine since 2018 and in that time has also worked as the title’s North of England reporter and deputy news editor.
His current role sees him focus on special educational needs, inclusion and the policy debates around these areas. He has been an education journalist for 20 years and worked for local and regional titles including the Telegraph & Argus and the Yorkshire Post. He is also a father of two and a SEND parent.
