Erica Douglas-Osborn

Erica previously worked in infant mental health before training to become an Educational Psychologist. She worked for 5 years in Bury Local Authority as an Educational Psychologist and Specialist Educational Psychologist in Co-production and Participation; whereby she supported the LA to develop their Co-Production Charter with local children and young people and their families. She moved to Tameside 7 years ago and has supported the development of the EP service by co-producing it with the children and young people of Tameside. She is particularly interested in early years and early intervention. Erica is an author of the book ‘Mindfulness in the Early Years’ and has written and added to several research articles around: supporting children in the early years, the application of mindfulness, co-production, participation and community engagement. Erica is also an honorary tutor at Manchester University.
