Beverley Walters
As Programme Director at MA Exhibitions, Beverley leads the Tes SEND Show portfolio, shaping the strategic direction and growth of the brand. Working in partnership with an expert advisory board, she ensures that programme content remains current, practical and closely aligned to the evolving priorities of education leaders and SEND professionals.
Beverley began her career in SEND at nasen in December 2000, where she developed national conference and exhibition programmes and launched nasen Live in 2010. She oversaw the logistics of the Whole School Approach to Improving Access, Participation and Achievement programme, supporting the delivery of in-person training to more than 7,000 SENCOs within 12 months. She also led the development of the DfE-funded SEND Gateway and served on the organising committee for International Special Education Congress (ISEC) in 2005, 2010 and 2015.
Her expertise lies in designing high-impact, inclusive event experiences that translate policy and research into meaningful professional dialogue and practical application. From shaping exhibition floorplans and feature areas to informing sales strategy and cultivating long-term sector partnerships, Beverley ensures each event delivers both educational value and strategic relevance. She is deeply committed to advancing equality, inclusion and accessibility, principles that underpin both her professional leadership and personal ethos.
