Since 2009, Amanda has been employed in the education sector, primarily focusing on secondary students with special needs. She holds the title of a qualified Specialist Dyslexia Tutor and is authorised to conduct assessments for Exam Access Arrangements and Visual Discomfort Screening.

Additionally, she has completed her training for her Assessor Practising Certificate and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). Currently, she serves as a Specialist Dyslexia Trainer at the British Dyslexia Association, where she provides bespoke training to various workplaces and educational institutions.
