From strategy to everyday practice: making mainstream inclusion happen

Rochdale will share its evolving approach to mainstream inclusion, bringing together education, health, specialist expertise and digital innovation. Through practical examples including the development of new ways of working, inclusion toolkit, the Balanced System approach to speech, language and communication, CanDo and Help at Hand, Charlotte and Francesca will explore how specialist knowledge can be moved upstream ' giving schools and families can build confidence in the classroom, deliver consistent inclusion across systems, enable earlier access to practical support, building workforce confidence and reducing reliance on referral-led systems. Delegates will hear what has worked, what has been learned and what other areas can take away.
