From Trauma to Inclusion: Embedding Therapeutic SEMH Support Across the School Community
This session explores how trauma-informed, therapeutic approaches can be embedded into everyday school practice to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Grounded in a Whole School SEND approach, it offers practical strategies for creating emotionally safe, inclusive environments. Participants will reflect on how to integrate relational, trauma-aware support across the school community to improve outcomes and wellbeing for all learners.

Learning outcomes:
- Identify key principles of trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches for supporting SEMH needs.
- Explore how these approaches can be embedded into whole school SEND practice and culture.
