Providing Relationships & Sexuality Education for SEND Learners
Teacher confidence in delivering RSE is low with surveys (NASEWAT) suggesting that 80% of mainstream teachers feel ill-equipped and lack both knowledge and confidence in delivering RSE. For our SEND learners the figures are no better, and many of our learners do not receive the vital, relevant and accessible RSE that they deserve, and have a right to, receive. How can we change this long-standing truth, how can we become advocates for the young people that need support in advocating for themselves? The good news is that it is easier than you think!
