This session will empower early years, primary and secondary education professionals to identify individual children’s needs quickly and carefully, without the long wait or cost for a specialist diagnosis. Guiding you through aspects of core cognitive testing, we'll cover how to identify specific areas of need from phonological and visual processing to executive functioning and mental health, with suggestions for quick, free, easy and timely assessments.

  • Understand which areas to consider when identifying SEND
  • Know where to find free resources to use
  •  Feel confident to begin a screening process in your setting
