"Tackling Tables is embedded across our KS2 classes at St Gregory's. It has helped our pupils to develop confidence with number fluency; developing and applying times table facts and enabling them to understand the clear relationship that these hold with related division facts.

Our pupils are really enthusiastic about the programme and love the days where they know Tackling Tables is timetabled into the day. When they complete a test, moving onto the next challenge in that phase, they are so pleased with themselves and love sharing this success in our celebration assembly.

The challenges in red phase especially which make the connections and applications between times table knowledge and fractions, decimals and percentages allow pupils to make mathematical connections and therefore apply this knowledge in their maths lessons. Recently, Tackling Tables launched an inter school competition which our children loved! A huge thank you to Dennis and Margi at Tackling Tables for bringing joy to the children's learning."
